We are now accepting applications for our 2010 ILD Zone 1 Program.
ILD Zone 1 is for high school and college age students who feel a call to leadership and ministry, and are looking to begin building a strong spiritual foundation and grow into God's purpose for their life.
Age & Applicant Requirements:
High School students must be entering their sophomore year in Fall 2010 College age students must be under the age of 30 to participate.
Although onsite collaboration with a local leader is helpful, it is not required. Students may send in their applications directly to the Indiana District Youth Director.

What is ILD - Impact Leadership Development?
ILD is a 12 week leadership development course set up to train and equip next generational leaders. Students who feel a call to ministry or any type of leadership will explore what it means to be "called" and discover key foundations of leadership, while applying their growth in practical outreach projects at local churches and various ministries across the US. Participants will complete ILD by attending a summer internship with the Indiana District Youth Director where they will join with other participants in their district for a power packed week full of worship, ministry, and one on one mentorship time with their District Youth Director.
How does the program work?
ILD comes with 12 teaching lessons (DVD), with corresponding notes/workbook, weekly assignments, and two textbooks. It is designed to run over a 12 week period (1 session per week). Students The Indiana District Youth Directors will follow up with participants individually on a weekly basis to discuss what they have discovered, where they are in their growth in their relationship with God and track their progress in the program. Weekly assignments will be submitted to the DYD via email or fax, and weekly reflections will be posted on a the Indiana ILD Facebook Page.
During week 12, participants will meet for a 3 day face to face encounter with their District Youth Directors prior to summer camp and complete a ministry internship during their DYM Summer Camps.
How do I get started in ILD?
Text or call your District Youth Directors, Eddie and Carrie Underwood at (765) 490-0960 and request an info packet and application. Take this info packet back to your parent/guardian if under age 18 and discuss your enrollment.
Return your application and $140 tuition fee into your District Youth Directors at 3926 Corinthian Street Lafayette, IN 47909
by November 13th, 2009. The 12 week course will begin Sunday April 12th 2009.
What does my tuition fee include?
Food and lodging during all outreach projects and the internship prior to DYM Summer Camp, the cost of your curriculum for the program. The curriculum includes the following:12 teachings on DVD, corresponding workbooks with teaching outlines & assignments, “Battlecry For My Generation” by Ron Luce, “Do Hard Things” by Alex & Brett Harris, and an ILD bag.
